Once upon a time, there was a teenage girl who ran a Duran Duran fanzine called Duranies Unite. Then she became penpals with another girl who ran two Duran Duran fanzines: Carnival and Khanada. Their names were Anji and Nancy.
Just like the chocolate in the peanut butter and the peanut butter in the chocolate, the teens realized they should partner up and make one ultimate fanzine from the three.
And that’s how the fanzine DUCK (Duranies Unite/Carnival/Khanada) was born!
Now, a quarter of a century later, the two of us are back to share our Duran Duran collections… because, seriously — if we’ve made it into our 40s and still have all this stuff, it’s high time we put it to good use.
So please come in, browse around, put Rio on the turntable (oh, okay, pull up your playlist on your phone) and settle in for a nice little trip down memory lane into a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind.
Your next stop: the Duranie Zone.
